[DE] Gestern wurde bei uns das Zine “Practising Solidarity” vorgestellt. Im Zine werden zuerst die Gruppen vorgestellt, die interviewed wurden und ihre Definition von transnationaler feministischer Solidarität erläutert.
Daran anschließend gibt es einen Abriss verschiedener feministischer Theorien über Solidarität von Diane Elam, Bini Adamczak, bell hooks, Chaldea Mohanty und Audre Lorde. Die Autorin hat daraus vier Schlüsselelemente identifiziert: Gegenseitigkeit, Beziehungen, Reflexion und dass Feminismus immer politisch ist.
Im Zine geht es weiter mit Zitaten über Solidarität, dem Unterschied zwischen Wohltätigkeit und Solidarität, Gedichten und den Herausforderungen von Solidarität: die Exklusion (Klasse, Bildungsgrad, Sprache,..), finanzielle, Zeit- und Energie-Ressourcen.
Zum Schluss werden noch Tools für die Praxis (safe spaces, Reflexion, lernen, Kommunikation, Entscheidungen, Privilegien teilen und nutzen), Ratschläge und Visionen der verschiedenen Gruppen präsentiert.
In der anschließenden Diskussio wurden Fragen zum Zine gestellt und Erfahrungsberichte ausgetauscht.
[EN] Yesterday, the zine “Practising Solidarity” was presented at our office. The zine first introduces the groups that were interviewed and explains their definition of transnational feminist solidarity.
This is followed by an outline of various feminist theories on solidarity by Diane Elam, Bini Adamczak, bell hooks, Chaldea Mohanty and Audre Lorde. From this, the author has identified four key elements: Mutuality, Relationships, Reflection, and that feminism is always political.
The zine continues with quotes about solidarity, the difference between charity and solidarity, poems and the challenges of solidarity: the exclusion (class, educational level, language,..), financial, time and energy resources.
Finally, tools for practice (safe spaces, reflection, learning, communication, decisions, sharing and using privileges), advice and visions of the different groups will be presented.
In the discussion that followed, questions were asked about the zine and testimonials were shared.
