Selbstverständnis
Die Schwarze Raupe ist ein Raum zum Diskutieren, aber auch zum Lesen, Lernen oder Abhängen. Es gibt keinen Konsumzwang. Falls du aber durstig bist, haben wir kalte Getränke und Kaffee von den Zapatistas. Manchmal gibt es bestimmt auch Snacks. Leider ist der Raum nicht barrierefrei, weswegen wir bei Bedarf gemeinsam individuelle Lösungen finden.
Wir verstehen die Schwarze Raupe als linksradikalen Raum: Einen Raum für gemeinsame Politisierung und Organisierung sowie als eine erste Anlaufstelle für verschiedenste Anliegen. Das (erweiterbare) Kollektiv der Schwarzen Raupe kümmert sich darum, einen Raum für Gruppen und Individuen für Treffen und Veranstaltungen zur Verfügung zu stellen. Bei unserem regelmäßigem Raumplenum laden wir alle Gruppen ein, zu partizipieren, gemeinsam Verantwortung zu übernehmen und vor allem einen gemeinsamen Kampf zu organisieren und einander zu unterstützen.
Es gibt in der Schwarzen Raupe keinen Platz für sexistisches, rassistisches, homo-, bi-, transfeindliches oder sonstiges diskriminierendes oder unterdrückendes Verhalten. Wir sind solidarisch mit von Gewalt betroffenen Personen und positionieren uns ganz klar gegen gewaltausübende Personen. Für uns stehen die Bedürfnisse der Betroffenen im Mittelpunkt und wir übernehmen kollektiv Verantwortung.
Die Schwarze Raupe finanziert sich weiterhin nur durch Spenden. Alle verfügbaren Dinge vor Ort und die Nutzung des Raums basieren auf freiwilliger Spendenbasis. Die Fixkosten von rund 500 Euro pro Monat müssen so gedeckt werden.

Our Self-Concept
The “Schwarze Raupe” is a space for discussion, but also for reading, studying or hanging out. There is no compulsion to consume. But if you are thirsty, we have cold drinks and coffee from the Zapatistas. Sometimes there will definitely be snacks as well. Unfortunately, the space is not barrier-free, which is why we work together to find individual solutions if needed.
We understand the “Schwarze Raupe” as a radical left space: a space for common politicization and organizing as well as a first point of contact for various concerns. The (expandable) collective of the “Schwarze Raupe” takes care of providing a space for groups and individuals for meetings and events. At our regular space plenum we invite all groups to participate, to take responsibility together and above all to organize a common struggle and to support each other.
There is no place in the “Schwarze Raupe” for sexist, racist, homophobic, bi-, transphobic or any other discriminatory or oppressive behavior. We stand in solidarity with people affected by violence and take a clear position against those who use violence. For us, the needs of those affected are central and we take collective responsibility.
The “Schwarze Raupe” continues to be financed only by donations. All available things on site and the use of the space are based on voluntary donations. The fixed costs of around 500 euros per month must be covered in this way.
