Gestern Abend veranstalteten wir einen Vortrag zu Christlichem Fundamentalismus und feministische, antifaschistische Gegenproteste in Wien.
Die vortragende Person erzählte zuerst über den “Marsch für das Leben” und den “Marsch für die Familie” und welche Vereine und Gruppen der Fundis an der Organisation dieser Märsche in Wien beteiligt sind. Zusätzlich erfuhren wir mehr über das heteronormative, patriarchale Weltbild der Fundis.
Danach gab es einen Überblick über Gegenproteste der letzten Jahre, welche auch diesen Samstag wieder in Wien unter dem Motto “Marsch fürn Arsch” stattfinden werden.
Anschließend kam es zu einer gemeinsamen Diskussion, in der wir über Kämpfe gegen AbtreibungsgegnerInnen und Fundis in Österreich sprachen und wir kamen zu dem Schluss, dass die Kämpfe gegen AbtreibungsgegnerInnen und Fundis oft auch innerhalb der linksradikalen Szene übersehen werden.
Also informieren wir uns gemeinsam, organisieren (Gegen-)Proteste und machen wir den Fundis die Hölle heiß! 🔥

Impressions of the presentation about Christian Fundamentalism
Yesterday evening we hosted a lecture on Christian Fundamentalism and feminist, anti-fascist counter-protests in Vienna.
The speaker first told us about the “March for Life” and the “March for the Family” and which associations and groups of the fundamentalists are involved in the organization of these marches in Vienna. Additionally, we learned more about the heteronormative, patriarchal worldview of the fundamentalists.
Afterwards, there was an overview of counter-protests of the last years, which will take place again this Saturday in Vienna under the motto “Marsch fürn Arsch”.
Afterwards there was a common discussion in which we talked about struggles against anti-abortion activists and fundamentalists in Austria and we came to the conclusion that the struggles against anti-abortion activists and fundamentalists are often overlooked even within the radical left scene.
So let’s inform ourselves together and organize (counter-)protests. Hell to those who believe in it! 🔥
